Who are The Giddy Gourmands?
Chef E
She is the founder of The Giddy Gourmands, having brought the trio together on the project. Although she loves food (eating it and making it), she is not ashamed to admit that the desire to make gourmet ketchup is the real reason she wanted to start cooking nice meals with friends. However, finding things to put that ketchup on was the reason why she wanted to start a blog about cooking nice meals with friends. Chef E grew up in the kitchen of a very Italian family, so although she never learned to cook, she can figure it out (and enjoys the experimentation of it).
Chef K
She is the main photographer and main taste tester. By joining Chef E on this summer adventure, she hopes to conjure up some cooking magic and one day create wonderful homemade meals for her (future) husband. Her favorite types of foods include baked goods such as brownies, cookies and pies, but she also enjoys warm stewy dishes such as curry and gumbo. Because no one ever cooks in her family, she hopes to break the curse by learning the tricks of the trade with her friends Chef E and Chef S.
Chef S
She is the third addition to The Giddy Gourmands. This chef loves the idea of food experiments, having conducted several while studying abroad (with varying degrees of success). Mexican and Spanish flavors are her favorites by far. Now back home, she hopes to branch out and create new recipes with the other chefs, adding some more spice to her cooking portfolio.
